The owner is a young man by the name of Jason and it is a family run business. They have your typical sushi (dynamite, california, yam, etc), as well as udons, teriyakis, tempuras, miso, and so on. Their tempuras are delicious (the mom makes it in the back) and do not have that nasty greasy feeling to it at all. They always get us to try appetizers (the green seaweed salad, delicious, not really sour like some places).
My favourites is this tuna dish and their calamari salad. The tuna dish is a large piece of tuna, that's been half cooked. So the outside of the fish is cooked, but inside is still raw and the entire dish is half submerged in this sauce. I really really enjoyed that. They also have a lot of special house rolls (I don't even remember the names of), but they are all freshly made, some are very colourful, with a drizzle of sauce on top. All the sushi is at a decent size and the rice is consistently good.
